[poem] Word arrangements
by Joe Martin Ballwithin the rooms of words and the chairs,having withstood those not standing,without the redefining fire of thought lost laugh curl,within these messages,without the prospect of ideasthe pulse of beginningsclouding the clarity promise-whisperedwithin open tombsempty without soundwithin your earswilling pairs helpless, flowing andtruly held, neither holds diverted and alien,this moves, emulating sense in motion breathing as air forever parts with little noiseand dragon eyed guardian of the name fumblessolemnly for the lostvoice renunciating rumblesof partial flickers of echoesresting within this strainthis loiters as we pass, time's proud chariotsmiling at the burden, a tardy gesture toward a vacant symbol
